GRAY- A HOT COLOR FOR SPRING

Hello, ladies! I hope you all are doing well and starting to feel like spring is on the way! It’s been so lovely and warm here in Dallas the last few days that it almost feels like we are going straight into early summer. It will cool off again, but spring fever has hit for now! We are headed to Palm Beach over the weekend for a bit of R&R, and it’s supposed to be warmer in Dallas! Today, I wanted to share a color that I love and a hot one for spring (although it doesn’t seem like a true one). It’s the color gray!

Gray was all over the runways for spring 2024 and mixed with some interesting colors. Red is still having a moment, and designers were mixing it with gray for spring. It doesn’t look as harsh as black for spring. Another interesting color that is being mixed with gray is Kelly green. It can look fun and fresh, but I honestly think a mint green looks better and softer. One last gray combination that I have always loved is gray and brown. However, I have never tried it for a spring look. What do you all think of these spring color trends? Are you game enough to try to wear one or two of them?

Heather ( So Heather ) and I found this adorable ruched bomber jacket ($98) in a blue/gray, and of course, we both paired it with a gray pant, denim, and white tees. I have to tell you about these pants! They are one of my favorite purchases so far for spring. This is the Effortless Pant and is a high-waisted wide-leg crepe trouser. They fit like a dream and come in three lengths and fifteen (yes, 15) colors. They go with everything and hardly wrinkle. I am obsessed and want them in almost every color. I also love this style of pants worn with sneakers. I think it gives more of a playful look.

You have probably noticed that some of the photos I am posting are not exactly professional. We have scaled back a bit and are trying to save a little by shooting each other. We are still working with our photographer, but not every week like we were. I am still striving to bring you all ideas for styling pieces to give you confidence in what you wear. That will never change!

I hope you all have a great weekend! Stay well and Be safe! xx
